Today has already been a trying day when it come to food and it's not even noon.  Boo!  I have managed to munch on lots of crap, for lack of better word, today!  Sucks...Why does it have to be so difficult?  Anyone, Anyone?  Guess no answers :(

So we had dinner today at Flanigan's and I was able to resist Loaded Nachos.  That is a feat in itself.  I was able to make good choices, although they were not satisfying at all.  Ohh well, I guess.  Damien's day went well he has a "girlfriend"  named Leah Marie.  She is so sweet and way cute!

Tuesday

Day two with drop off went well.  Damien wanted a hug and a kiss and he was fine.  There were all the family pictures set out on the table and I didn't see Damien's.  I spoke with Ms. Lizzette about it being in his folder, she said she will look.  I really hope they found it.  I would feel really bad if everyone has their picture and somehow his got lost...Well, after pick up I spoke with Ms. Lizzette, she found his picture :)  He showed it to the class and explained who everyone was.  We forgot his backpack at school, we have to get in a routine!

Okay with Soda

 So, I am going to accept soda for now.  It is my downfall and my comfort.  Some people do drugs, some drink....I LOVE SODA!  I guess I just have to accept that, for now.  The war is not over but right now I am waving the white flagWork tonight will be so hard!  I eat pretty healthy and when I go to work and get busy and stressed I eat.  Maybe acknowledging that I will be able to do better.  I plan on bringing a protein shake, and some snacks.  I will eat broccoli, grilled chicken and lettuce, tomato and onion, NOTHING ELSE!!  No snacking on fries or dead food!

Work went surprisingly well, no junk like planned :)  I brought my snacks, oatmeal and a protein shake.  Dinner consisted of 3 oz of chicken and broccoli.  Today will be work as well, we will be going to lunch with family and then I will have to work, a double whammy.

Cutting the Junk

Today is day one and I will be cutting the junk out this week.  My plan is to get rid of processed sugars and all soda.  I will be increasing my protein intake and eating every 2 hours.  Last night I went and picked up protein powder and a multi-vitamin.  I have a couple more supplements like L-Carnitine and either a fish oil or flax oil to get.  I would like to focus more on building muscle then on real weight loss, that will come in time as I build the muscle.

     6 ozs of Boneless, Skinless Chicken breast
     1 cup of Beets

     1 oz Cheese
     1/3 Cup Vanilla Protein Powder and water...so gross!!

Okay, well today is over and the eating part has been awesome.  I did not get to the gym since Damien's orientation for school lasted longer than expected and the weather took a turn for the worse.  I also did not successfully cut out soda today.  I had a blasting headache after orientation and knew I need caffeine and gave in to my Cherry Coke Zero.  Really, how bad is diet soda?  I know it has artificial sugars and honestly know better but really can't stay away!!  I have increased my water intake more to about 30ozs, I know I need more but its a start..
